FAQS
Could you tell me what materials Tejomaya Candles are made of?
Our candles are made from 100% coconut and rapeseed wax, without any paraffin, palm, soy, beeswax, dyes, or synthetic additives. We also use cotton wicks that are free of lead. To ensure the safety of you and your loved ones, we carefully inspect every fragrance we use to make sure there are no harmful ingredients. Our products are uniquely handcrafted using traditional methods, making them different from other candles on the market. Additionally, we are a vegan-friendly and eco-conscious business that is committed to being 100% plastic-free.
Why does my candle look discoloured or appears to have wet spots?
Our Tejomaya candles are crafted from 100% natural ingredients, which may cause some candles to have small wet spots or air bubbles. This is normal as we use natural wax without any additives, resulting in a less sticky texture that may not always adhere to the glass. However, this does not affect the performance or fragrance of our candles. In fact, it adds to the uniqueness of each hand-poured candle.
Is there a length of time that I should burn my candles?
For safety reasons, we suggest burning the candle for a maximum of 4 hours but no less than 2 hours. This is to ensure that the wax and glass do not reach high temperatures.
What should I do if my candle arrives in the post damaged?
In case your candle arrives damaged, kindly take a photo of it and send it via email to us for assistance.
Can I stock your candles in my shop or on my website?
Certainly. If you require additional information, please email us at info@tejomacandles.co.uk.
Do you ship outside the UK?
At the moment, we only provide shipping within the UK. However, we are actively working on expanding our shipping options.
